Charles Wallace
Director Global IT, Architecture and Infrastructure, Rohm and Haas Company
Charles Wallace has more than 18 years of IT experience in infrastructure and applications development. Since 1992 he has been with specialty materials manufacturer Rohm and Haas Company, where he recently became Director of Global IT Infrastructure and Architecture. In his present position he has worldwide responsibility for his company’s baseline IT systems and architecture, including information security, desktop field support, data operations, and telecommunications.
Mr. Wallace joined Rohm and Haas in 1992, initially to work on the consolidation of the company’s global AS/400 platforms. He has held positions of increasing responsibility, and was most recently IT Chief Technology Architect before his current role as an IT director.
Mr. Wallace received his EMBA from Villanova University in 2004. He is active on the Technology Board of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and is a chair member of the Rohm and Haas African-American Leadership Network.
