Board Development & Governance Committee

Ensures effective board processes, structures and roles, including retreat planning, committee development, and board evaluation; it includes the role of nominating committee by keeping a list of potential board members, organizing board orientation, and training incoming board members; performs yearly evaluation of chief executive; develops and applies guidelines for ensuring ethical behavior and resolving ethical conflicts. Guides development, review and authorization of personnel policies and procedures; assists chief executive with leadership, management, and compensation matters;
