NPower Pennsylvania Welcomes Sunoco and SAP Board Members

Peter Whatnell (Sunoco) and Steve Shander (SAP America) join NPower PA’s Board

NPower Pennsylvania (NPower PA) is proud to announce the addition of two members to its Board of Directors, Peter Whatnell, Chief Information Officer at Sunoco, and Stephen Shander, Senior Vice President at SAP America Inc.

NPower PA’s Board of Directors includes David Ballai (Vice President, Operations and Technology Services CIO/COO, Reed Technology & Information Services, Inc.), Nancy Burd (CEO, The Burd Group), Patrick Callihan (Executive Director, NPower PA), Randall Gaboriault (Chief Information and Strategic Development Officer, Teleflex Incorporated), Paul Jaskot (Partner at Reed Smith LLP), Michael Ferreri (President, Judge Consulting Group), Nicole Tranchitella (Executive Partner, Accenture), and Charles Wallace (Executive Director & Chief Technology Architect, Global IT Architecture and Infrastructure, Rohm and Haas Company).

Mr. Whatnell has served on NPower PA’s CIO Advisory Council for three years and has served as NPower PA’s Event Committee Chair for the past two years. In that role Mr. Whatnell was instrumental in the success of NPower PA’s Nonprofit Technology Awards Luncheon. Last year’s luncheon was attended by 425 executives in the region, drawn together in support NPower PA and the over 325 nonprofit organizations it serves.

Mr. Shander has served on NPower PA’s CIO Advisory Council for one year. Mr. Shander and SAP have been instrumental in supporting NPower PA’s Technology Training Program which last year provided technology instruction to over 300 nonprofit employees. SAP was also a Presenting Sponsor of last year’s Nonprofit Technology Awards Luncheon.
