Making Presentations
Nonprofit staff are passionate about the mission of their organizations. Often, it's our enthusiasm that drives volunteers, boards and donors to participate in our mission and ultimately serve the community. Written information doesn't always convey that enthusiasm, so we're called upon to make personal presentations.
Learn how to make a great presentation to large or small audiences using MS PowerPoint. Our classes are designed to help students create dynamic slide shows that enhance rather than take over your presentation. Hands-on exercises and student manuals give students practice and reference for future use.

Accidental Techie Series
Understanding technology and keeping it running smoothly is the responsibility of your IT department. Often the employees of this department... Oh wait, you don't have an IT department. Small and midsized nonprofit agencies often rely on a staff person such as the book keeper, communications director or program analyst to keep the computers running. NPower refers to these brave souls as "Accidental Techies". Our goal is to arm these employees with the knowledge that they need to connect printers, load software, maintain basic networks and Internet connections and make informed decisions about future technology.
NPower PA offers classes in Technology Planning, PC Maintenance and Basic Networking that offer the Accidental Techie a classroom environment in which to learn skills to help them with their inherited responsibilities.
