IT Disaster Planning - Preparation, Planning & Peace of Mind
A management-level workshop to provide nonprofit organizations with the know-how and tools to developing a disaster recovery and business continuity plan. Communities count on us to continue delivering essential services regardless of any natural disasters, emergencies, or unplanned events. In this workshop, you'll learn about the main components of a disaster recovery plan, walk through the steps to creating a plan for your organization, explore how simple technology tools can play an essential role managing and implementing your plan, and learn about additional resources available to assist you. Although you won't be able to stop emergencies from happening, by attending this workshop you will be prepared to manage and mitigate the impact they have on your service delivery. The content from this workshop was developed by the NPower Network as a companion to our disaster preparedness guide, Communications, Protection, and Readiness: NPower’s Nonprofit Guide to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
