Executive Director
NPower PA seeks an Executive Director
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director of NPower PA will be responsible for all activities and results related to the organization’s programs and services. He or she is also responsible for strategic planning, fundraising, financial planning, administration, external relations, programmatic review, and operational oversight. The Executive Director will work very closely with the Director of Development and the Board to broaden the funding base to include increased support from foundations, government, individuals and corporations. The new Executive Director will lead a staff of 16 and oversee an annual operating budget in excess of $2 million.
The successful candidate must have proven skills in building and maintaining relationships, as well as communicating effectively with a diversity of individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will be mission-oriented and have an intimate understanding of the non-profit sector. He or she must possess a demonstrated track record of raising money from multiple sources, with a particular emphasis on grants and major gifts from foundations and corporations or transferable sales experience.
