Fundraising Assistant

NPower PA is a nonprofit whose mission is to ensure all nonprofits in the greater Philadelphia region can use technology to better serve our community.  We are a rapidly growing organization with a fun, entrepreneurial atmosphere. 

 

NPower PA seeks a part-time Development Assistant to support corporate fundraising, foundation grant writing, individual giving, and special events.

 

Successful candidates will be organized, energetic, flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent grammar, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  Candidates must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and other standard office tools.

 

Duties

Responsibilities include: department database maintenance including donor, event, and other lists; donor research; maintaining gift records; assisting with grant and sponsorship proposals and reports; drafting and sending donor acknowledgement letters, invitations and other correspondence; maintaining and adhering to deadlines and calendars; coordinating fundraising mailings and electronic fundraising efforts; assisting in managing special events including budgets, timelines, logistics, coordination, sponsor communication, and marketing; working to support efforts with volunteers, Board members and donors; providing administrative support for department; drafting and sending press releases.
